Please
forgive my absence over the last few days, but I am still in disbelief (as I am
sure most of you are) about the senseless tragedy that took place in Newtown,
Connecticut last week.
My heart aches
for all of those families who lost loved ones that day. I grieve for those
families, not just because I am a parent, I grieve because I cannot comprehend
sending my child to a place that is supposed to be a safe haven and never
seeing them again. This entire situation has consumed me, and for days 5-12 of
the 2welve Days of Christmas, I would like Prayers, Comfort and Peace for all
of the families of Newton, Connecticut.
